Interlibrary loan (from now onwards “IL”)
The purpose of this service is to provide members of the university community with originals or reproductions of works that are not available within the collection of the Library of the University of Valladolid. In reciprocity, it supplies documents, existing in our facilities, to other institutions that request them.
As of recently, this service is being managed by the Reina Sofía General Library.

Payment methods
This service has a cost, which is usually assumed by deparments, GIRs, proyects, users…
In this last case, those users who are to assume the payment, must make a bank transfer only after the Library has informed them that the Document is available, entering the following information in the title/Concept:
Centro 600 Concepto 332 Préstamo interbibliotecario
Cuenta: ES15-0049-5450-07-2416086020
Once the transfer is made, users are required to send a copy of the invoice to the Library of their center.

If the document is requested from another library/institution within Spanish territory, the fees are:
If the document is requested by oher library/institution outside of Spain:
There is no standard fee. Prices vary according to each supplying library.
Who may request a loan?
Other libraries within or outside the country or public or private institutions in Spain may request a copy or a loan of an original document from the BUVa collection.
